USB on VMWare ESX 3.5i console

Simple one this, fancy mounting a USB device onto the “secret” console on ESX 3.5i?
Well you can’t!
I tried it on the one here, and a tail of messages didnt show anything when the device was connected, neither did an fdisk -l.
Still digging around, but it looks like its just plain not supported on the console

Could you add modules to the oem.tgz or somthing like that take a look here see what you think http://www.vm-help.com/esx/esx3i/customize_oem_tgz.php look for the second on
“Instructions to modify oem.tgz if you’re booting from a USB flash drive to add support for an unrecognized device”
